Welcome

Home

Wes & LenaHis life was dedicated to music. He taught music, he lived music. He brought the joy of music itself, soft and free, to many young boys and girls, and this for many others to whom he was inspiration.

Here will be Nivens music, and links to other music.

"I have been privileged now for 20 years to be involved in all the old time fiddlers & music I can imagine. My wife and I have traveled America playing and enjoying all the wonderful people that are out there in this world of ours. I have been privileged to teach fiddling to young people, then watch them become talented musicians. I am truly grateful for all the joys I have gained in this life." (Wes Nivens 1998 age 82)

And his favorite song

Please Note:

This site is not about selling music, although many of his works are here. Wes Nivens died on June 25th, 2001 at his home in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. His passing brings sore loss and pain to his many friends and family. He was just an old farm boy that loved music, and he was able to express that in his life. He taught many young people to play and to love music.

This site is dedicated to his memory.

WE ALL LOVED YOU
